Meet Elite
Erin Flaherty (formerly Erin Triplett) founded Elite Assist with the mission to create a work/life balance for both business owners and our staff. When she was a manager for a mortgage company, she came into contact with many business owners that seemed overworked and overstressed, because they felt that in order to delegate they had to hire full time employees. They were hesitant to do this, because of cost, or because they weren't sure they had enough work to give an employee. Erin resolved that business owners should be able to run a company, without having to commit to a full time staff person. By the same token, people on staff should be able to work smart to complete the job, without working too many hours and sacrificing family values. Forty hours at a desk in an office isn’t the magic formula for a job well-done.
With these principles, Elite Assist was born.
Now, our clients can spend their work day doing what makes them the most money, and they can outsource the rest to us, a little at a time. Our executive assistants are also pleased to have the opportunity to work with our clients, without feeling like they have sacrificed their priorities and values.

Our staff have a strong background in office management and/or bookkeeping. Each applicant must pass an intensive screening process and criminal background check before a project is assigned. The number of people on our staff continually increases as we earn new business.Senior Management Team
Erin Flaherty – Founder Erin Flaherty lives in Odenton, MD, with her husband and 3-year old daughter. Her favorite pastimes are reading and baking. She has a bachelor’s degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Melissa Fox – Senior Bookkeeper
Melissa not only manages the books for several of our clients, but she is also the bookkeeping manager for Elite Assist staff bookkeepers. With over 10 years of bookkeeping and office management experience, she is a jack of all trades when it comes to company finance. Melissa lives in Pasadena with her husband and two children. She also LOVES to dance!
Victoria Rosati – Human Resources Manager Victoria, who goes by Tori, brings several years of management experience to our operation. Her strengths include solving problems within departments, inter-department communication, and creating efficient processes. Tori runs orientations and trainings for our staff, and also serves as executive assistant to the founder. She lives in Odenton with her husband, infant daughter and 3 dogs, and she is a
self-described board game fanatic!
Susan Deerwester-Fahd – Placement Manager, MD/Northern VA Susan has over 15 years experience in the real estate industry, and is able to use her people skills and customer service smarts in her role at Elite Assist. She also has experience running a graphic design company with her husband in Odenton. She has two daughters – one in college, and one in middle school. Susan enjoys shopping, traveling, volunteering, art, fashion and trying new and exciting things. One thing she would like to try this year is professional driving. Indy Car, here she comes! We are lucky to have her as part of our management team!
